Reading Tiered Fidelity (R-TFI) National Reporting System

The R-TFI National Reporting System is a free web-based data system designed for school districts outside of Michigan to enter and access reports exclusively for the R-TFI.

Districts

  • Step 1: Individual districts complete the R-TFI Reporting System Interest Form. This must be completed by each district individually. A state or regional consultant cannot sign up on behalf of a district. The R-TFI Reporting system does not need to be used by all schools within a district. However, any school that wishes to use the system must sign up through district leadership.
  • Step 2: New requests will be processed within 48 hours. Individuals named on the Interest Form will be notified when the district account is established, including login directions and how to set up additional users.

State and Regional Consultants

  • Step 1: Individuals request a state or regional user account.
  • Step 2: Your name and email will be added to the R-TFI Reporting System and you will receive an email notification, including login directions.
    • Regional Consultants: An individual account with login access will be added, but regional users will not be able to enter data or view reports until district users specifically invite them to access their data, a task performed within the R-TFI Reporting System using the following steps:
      Image
Screenshot showing to click on Users tab and click Select under Regional Users to edit users who can access the account.

Screenshot showing to check box next to the names of regional users you want to access account and click save.
    • State Consultants: Must be employees of the state department of education or another organization acting on its behalf. Requests will be verified with a contact at the state department of education. State users will have access to all R-TFI data entered by any school within the state.

The Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory (R-TFI) Reporting System has application programming interfaces (APIs) available that allow downloading data for each of the evaluation types we offer (elementary-level edition, secondary-level edition, versions 1.0 and 2.0). To get started, review and follow the directions in the set-up documentation.

Visit the R-TFI Tools and Resources section of this website to learn more about the R-TFI, including training for R-TFI Facilitators. R-TFI data housed in the R-TFI Reporting System will be more valuable for decision-making when facilitators are knowledgeable about the underlying concepts measured by the R-TFI and the recommended data collection procedures.
