Evaluation Briefs

Data-based decision-making is a critical feature of MTSS. We urge District and School Leadership Teams to regularly gauge their MTSS implementation effectiveness. This process involves analyzing data at all levels, comparing past and present findings, and benchmarking against state-wide data. Our Michigan Evaluation Briefs offer a summary of this data for schools implementing MTSS. This includes completion rates, score averages, and variability across tiers, subscales, and items. Use these insights to understand score variability, identify improvement areas, and refine implementation plans.
