ISD and District identified trainers

This series develops local and regional training capacity to support training school staff in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Planning. Through activities designed to build background knowledge and respond to common questions, this session prepares participants to lead school staff in developing high-quality Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plans.

By the end of this session, participants will:

  1. Explain the legal aspects and best practices associated with FBA/BIP
  2. Preview the content and resources available
  3. Identify common participant questions and misrules that arise
  4. Prepare to train classroom teachers in content
