Teaching is one of the most rewarding yet demanding professions. To thrive in this profession, educators must prioritize their own wellness, both to perform at their best and to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral health needs of students.

Continuous improvement requires the intentional, strategic use of data at all levels of the educational system. This series is designed to build knowledge around the essential components of a multi-tiered system of supports framework. Participants will use the problem-solving process to interpret universal screening data, determine whether a systemic need exists, and develop a plan of action to strengthen district- or building-level MTSS Tier 1 implementation.

The Tier 1 Reading System training is designed to support the installation and implementation of tier 1 of a School-wide Reading Model to improve outcomes for all students.

Equip coaches with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to support school leadership teams in the successful training, installation, and implementation of a school-wide reading model within their school.

A student's ability to comprehend academic text is the ultimate goal. Explicit vocabulary instruction is a proven "before reading" strategy that gives students access to more rigorous text used in their subjects.
